Everywhere you turn, people are talking about the internet, what is all the hype about? What exactly is the “internet”? The internet is the world’s largest computer network. Unlike a computer network set up at a business or school, though, the internet is not owned or operated by any one person or group no one monitors it, and no one can “turn off”; clearly the internet has become a popular hangout. Computer games provide an ex citing and interactive medium for game play within education; the computer industry obviously has been quite successful in attracting these young customers. From a technical perspective are, starting and playing electronic games has become easier in the past two decades. Most pupils, therefore, have learned about computers before a teacher or other educators begin their instruction. Computer games may possibly become a part of the school curriculum. However, there are a number of issues; which need to be addressed before using computer games in the classroom.
In modern society, it is very common playing computer games. Even though computer games are common in our life, they have not only good effects, but also bad effects, especially to teenagers. Moreover, even though parents know that teenagers plat computer games too much they do not know that why teenagers are widely excited at computer games, and what the bad effects of computer games are. There are two main causes that teenagers play computer games too much. In addition, playing computer games too much has two main effects. The first reason that teenagers play computer games too much is very simple, because computer games are very fun. Computer games’ aims focus on too relieve stress. Therefore, computer games are very splendid violent content. There has long been the brief that violent content may teach violent behavior, “Mind and Media”. Moreover, Barrie Gunter asserted, “Extrapolating from playing computer or video games with violent themes, such as heightening of perceptions risk or danger in the real world, “The effects of computer games may also derive form the feeling of control which they stimulate in young players”. Thus, computer games drive teenagers more violent. Besides, teenagers could misunderstand that they are computer games character.
Computer is considered as one of the most beautiful invention that has been created by man on Earth that is because it is one of the most powerful machines that run almost all the part of the world to make life easier and better. Computer is used in many different fields like in business, medicine, entertainment, communication and many other fields in science which gives multifarious and wonderful benefits to humankind today.
It is not avoided to use the capabilities of the computer to make a world which visualized the imagination of man. Because this intention, Virtual World or popularly known as Virtual Reality is created. Soon, the idea entered that Virtual Reality can be used to play and travel the human imagination. So here began creating human computer games and use it for its leisure. Playing computer games did not began as an industry that is immediately revealed to the world. It started as a hobby for computer software engineers. Upon entering the 70’ decade began the industry of electronic games. Also at this time, began the computer gaming industry and 1st Generation of electronic gaming devices or gaming consoles. As times passed, electronic games became more complicated, sophisticated and beautiful. From non-colorful and 2 Dimensional it transform to 3 dimensional games which becomes more colorful and beautiful. At the present time, we are in the 7th Generation of electronic gaming devices.
