An effective manager has to perform their responsibilities successfully, this doesn’t mean that they are and effective leader. Effective leaders motivate and lead people with a clear vision and inspire their followers. Effective managers have the opportunity to be effective leaders as well, however this is not always the case. However, I do think that most managers circumstantially can be transformational leaders at one point or another; Although it is not their natural way of conducting management tasks.
4)I think courage means the power within your soul to do the right thing and listen to your conscious. It takes courage to do what is right. It is easier for people to look away or not do what is honorable, because it might jeopardize their current situation. I think courage is the ability to act rightly in the face of popular opposition. I would also define courage as the ability to confront fear/pain, both mental and physical.
