Legalizing marijuana will cause a negative educational impact is seriously can ruin a teenager’s life. Teens that use drugs are more likely to engage in violent and delinquent behavior and join gangs in school and outside school (Rusche S.)Teens, who do abstain from marijuana use, function better than users during the transition to young adulthood (Rusche S.) There are many negative effects of marijuana use on teenagers during school ages. Marijuana can cause high school drop-outs. Also, marijuana is a dangerous drug; using it can destroy a teenager’s life. The use of marijuana can disrupt coordination and concentration (Turner). Marijuana use can hurt a teenager's education, family ties, and his social life. Performance in school sports and other activities will suffer if one is high. It can destroy hopes in athletics for teenagers, or it can ruin their chances in school. Also, the use of marijuana will teenagers will start to lose energy and lose interest in how they look or how they are getting along in school or work. This drug causes confuse teenagers and, it evens destroy how they think, which they are not thinking clearly they make bad decisions. They disrupt coordination and concentration on their course studies which, they will have trouble in thinking, problem-solving and anxiety. In conclusion, the effects of marijuana use on teenagers vary, but they are all equally negative. Marijuana use can cause high school drop-outs and will impact on the schools performance ratings and grants.
