Economics’ Situation is The Factor to
Animal cruelty can be defined as how people in the world treat animals without using their humanity for their own needs. In order to prevent it, many animal activists are making campaigns by posting movies on the Internet, DVD, and sometimes on the television programs. As I watched 5 movies about animal cruelty, which are Fur Farms in China; Canadian Seal slaughter; Shark Finning; Kentucky Fried Chicken – chicken abuse and sheep mulesing , All of them are showing the way human treating the animals badly for fulfilling the human needs. In my opinion, we have to stop the animal cruelty, but we can’t resist that it is very controversial to stop it. Why?
Now a day, many people are buying fancy leather and fur goods, but they never know how the leather and fur are obtained. In the Fur Farm in China movie, people are hanging the animals and taking their fur even though they are still alive. Not just only on the Fur goods, Animal cruelty could happen in order to produce foods. Shark finning is one of the examples. After the fisherman got the shark, they cut all of the fins and the shark is thrown back into the water afterwards. As you know, fish needs their fins to stay alive because without it is the same as human without their nose. They are using those techniques because of the efficiency. They only take what they need and throw away the junk. Even though people know how cruel it is, they are still consuming it because of the tastes and the advantages to us.
In order to stop it, the campaign has been made. Even though it is very convincing, we can’t deny that there some other factors for animal cruelty to occurred. Economics’ situation is for example. As you know about the recent economics’ situation, where people are hard to find a job and unemployment is not balance with the job vacancies, efficiency is what people are looking for. No matter whether it is in time or the profit

I strongly believe that there are several types of animal cruelty that many people disregard. When you think of animal abuse you probably just think violence being inflicted on an animal, or leaving it out in the cold, but those are just some forms of animal abuse. People are making animal’s fight each other until one of them has died while suffering an unbearably painful death, just for their entertainment. Animals are being slaughtered in the most painful ways so that people can enjoy a nice delicious meal. Animals don’t exist to be eaten; they exist for having a life just as us human beings. Each year, thousands of young and healthy Greyhounds are killed because they lack racing potential or have been injured while racing and are no longer competitive. This means that they are being killed, simply for lacking the fitness level. Statistics show, that 12,569 animals are being cruelly treated every day in Australia alone. 65% of those numbers are dogs. Imagine your dog, who is…

When animals get abused, people usually don't care. Imagine if that animal was one of your family member, or your best friend. These abused animals need to be fought for because they have as much of a right as we do to live a happy, abuse-free life. Animal abusers need to be stopped; they have no respect for human or animal life. The most frequent form of animal abuse is torture. Animals don't deserve this! They are poor defenseless creatures who need loveand care, not pain and suffering. Animal abuse is large in the film industry. In fact, the movie "Cannibal Holocaust" is known as one of the worst cases of animal abuse, killing 6 animals during filming to make the movie seem more "realistic." Why would anybody do this ????…

When an animal doesn’t do something right they use whips and punish the animals for not doing a trick correctly. They often will beat the animals until they learn to do the tricks correct. In the film industry several movies will use animals and actually kill them so that the movie seems more real.…

It is Sunday morning and you have poured yourself a tall cold glass of milk with two easy over eggs sizzling in the pan, lightly buttered toast and hot steamy coffee with fresh cream. In your mind’s eye you picture the cow who gave milk as grazing on a grassy pasture with an idyllic life. When you think of the chicken who laid the egg you may picture it as living in a clean healthy environment free of drug use with a clean home. The reality can be very different in fact it can be quite shocking. The opposite could be happening to these animals living in pens so small they cannot do what is normal, diseased and so sick they cannot even stand up, abused to the point of unbelievable horror that you think of Hitler and concentration camps. Does the need for food justify the way farm factories mistreat these animals, and do they have rights?…

Society today runs on ignorance, with many people that do not have the knowledge of where their food source derives. There are many cases reported every day of people abusing their pets or wild animals, but most cases of animal abuse happen at the factory farm. There are over 139,000 factory farms in the United States. They slaughter over 27 million cows, hogs, and hens every day for our convenience (Food Inc.). Consider yourself in the position of the animal that is being tormented and slaughtered. Current treatment of animals within slaughterhouses is unacceptable because workers beat them, force them to live in poor conditions which causes trauma, and feed them growth hormones that endanger their health.…
