It will help me develop technical as well as behavioral acumen with solid managerial, leadership and communication skills needed to become a successful engineer. Admitted into school at the age of 3, I had the opportunity to study in +2 school in India, Padma Seshadri Bala Bhavan Senior Secondary School and Junior College, Chennai. This laid a solid foundation for my education. The idea of taking up entrepreneurship evolved at the same time I started my Undergraduate program and that is the reason why I am also pursuing my Diploma in Business Management course. An inspiring speech from the Director of my college induced a spark and instilled confidence in me to take up the role of an entrepreneur. From then on world looked like a different place to me; my perspectives got refined. The corporate lessons sculptured me into becoming a fine professional engineer. The ultimate measure of a man is not where he stands in moments of comfort, but where he stands at times of challenge. Fortunately I have faced a lot of them and left no stones unturned in my career path. Through my hard work I gained entry into National Institute of Technology-Bhopal (Formerly Regional Engineering College-Bhopal), one of the most prestigious technical schools in India. I also got a valuable opportunity to mingle with young bright minds. I am a very active member of ISTE (Indian Society for Technical Education).This achievement made me a standout from other students. My journey through the undergraduate program has been enlightening and challenging to my creativity. I acquired a clear understanding of the fundamentals as well as intricate aspects of multifarious areas in Electronics and Communication. I have been exposed to various subjects like Analog Communication, Digital Communication, Electronic Circuits I & II, Microprocessors and Microcontrollers, VLSI Design, Antenna Wave Propagation, Computer Networks, Optical Communication, TV and Radar, Satellite Communication, Instrumentation. Being a quick learner I was able to grasp things quickly. I rely on practical understanding of concepts and my inquisitiveness was always well appreciated by my professors. This trait made me venture into VHDL and MATLAB for my final year project .With the tremendous support of my professors; I was able to achieve higher results. Initial obstacles did not deter me. I worked hard. Consequently obstacles became milestones for me. Over the last few years, world has witnessed a significant growth in its semiconductor industry and communication technology in general and VLSI in particular. I foresee that the VLSI industry could become one of the main contributors for a nation’s economy in the decades to come. I want my career to be taken up as a researcher. As the saying goes ‘known is a drop, Unknown is an ocean’, motivated me to work on this regard. Attending lectures on NANOTECHNOLOGY at the prestigious INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, DELHI opened new vistas for me. I gained a lot of information on the current areas of research. The workshop on Robotics at the INDIAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY, BOMBAY motivated me to work on microcontroller programming which is very essential in Embedded Systems. Desiring to keep myself abreast of the latest developments in this field of Electronics, the aim of achieving perfection has been the main reason for opting to apply to your university .Browsing through the university’s web pages I was extremely impressed by the excellent and innovative research supported by your university. I feel confident that with the renowned faculty combined with World Class Research facilities at your university will surely enable me to prove my mettle in the current competitive industry.
