Specific Purpose: To persuade my audience about the benefits of eating healthy.

Central Idea: Eating healthy is beneficial to the mind and the body. The biggest benefits of eating healthy are that we will stay physically fit, feel better, and have fewer illnesses.

Attention Getter: We are living in an unhealthy world! In our society today it seems like all we do is eat out or order in. That kind of eating habits on a regular basis can be very damaging to your body and mind.

Preview: I would like to talk to you about the great benefits of eating healthy. Having a healthy diet helps maintain and improve your health in different ways. A proper diet helps boost your energy levels, improves your bodily functions, and helps to improve your immune system. By eating a healthy diet, combined with exercise you could end up leading a longer and more vibrant life.

Transition: First, let’s discuss how eating right can boost your energy levels.
