Earth and Space Exploration
Space exploration is crucial to new discoveries in science, that will benefit society. Space exploration has changed the world around us by providing an inside look worlds around us, even in our own solar system. The ability to travel through space has given us a new perspective on our solar system, by being able to view how nature works outside of our own planet. Earth is a unique planet. So unique that our technology today has not discovered any other planets or satellites that could sustain human life. The earths atmosphere is composed of about 80 percent nitrogen and 20 percent oxygen however, space exploration might lead to a discovery of a similar planet to escape the depletion of our atmosphere. Technology in our current generation is ever changing. Engineers strive to improve on designs in order to create a user friendly efficient product. The need to keep up with technological Space exploration is crucial to new discoveries in science, that will benefit society. The space exploration gives us a vast advantage to the world such as the space exploration helps us understand the universe that we live in; gather knowledge and understanding of different celestial bodies around us.it give us proper information about what’s happening around the world so basically most of countries’ had used to do their daily routing by using non kind of technologies which will help to maintain its country needs. Furthermore the space exploration has wind up in the sky while improving its technology now it had already become an indispensible part of every developed countries. Meanwhile space satellites and some other equipment’s had already being situated around the earth; satellites can update its data through the data transmission method that used to communicate between earth and space. Thus sciences had improved gradually in case of space exploration In spite of taking the disadvantages of forecasting, the science had found out the more advance, accurate and fastest technology called weather updates through the satellite and it can detect natural Disasters like storms on before it happens in particular country of state. Nevertheless space exploration is almost interesting concept for most of the people for some reasons as follows; it creates us a clear picture about the space, universe where we are living. In this…

In 1961, the world was changed forever, Soviet cosmonaut Yuri Gagarin entered the spacecraft Vostok 1 and traveled into space. Following him in the same year, was the American astronaut Alan Shepard in Freedom 7. Then in 1969 the crew of the Apollo 11 mission landed on the Moon. This space race in the 1960s helped to light the fire of man’s interest in outer space and has lead mankind to wonder if we could live away from the comfort and safety of planet Earth. Many scientist and explorers have wondered if it would be possible to colonize the Moon or Mars for the purpose of research, resources, and hopefully a secondary home for the human race. However, many people have also doubted the idea of leaving the safety of planet Earth to explore other options of habitable places. Many argue that space exploration is dangerous and some critics argue that it is using too much money that could…

We have made much progress on our knowledge about what is beyond our atmosphere. We have put a man on the moon and have educated our society about our universe. We have built an international space station that allows human beings to live outside our atmosphere for years, researching and studying so that we may understand Earth in a much better way. We have learned so much about our world, and a lot of it is thanks to the Space Shuttle Program. It has been very efficient to us for a long time, but times have changed. NASA’s Space Shuttle Program has gone over budget and fallen behind its schedule. It is affecting our economy…

First of all space exploration is not worth the cost because it is not worth losing the lives astronauts lives. Even though there are people willing to go to space they can lose their lives while leaving the atmosphere. An example is the 1986 challenger tragedy. There was also another space shuttle tragedy in 2003 the space shuttle Columbia exploded just a few after lift off killing all of the crew members.…

Exploration has taught us about other planet and even more about our planet. Plus, as the author of the article, “Nine Good Reasons for Space Exploration” says, “To be human is to be an explorer.” To me this means that exploring is an instinct to us and we’ll always be interested in space and what’s in it. Even if the program shuts down, people will try to either reboot it or create a similar program because they’ll be interested in space and want to discover more about it. The argument “The Real Reasons We Explore Space” made by Michael Griffin quotes, “Burt Rutan and his backer, Paul Allen, certainly didn't develop a private spacecraft to win the Ansari X-Prize for the $10 million in prize money. They spent twice as much as they made.”(lines 23-26). This quote shows that people do explorations, not because of prizes and glory, but because they get the opportunity to explore something unexplainable and share it with the world. The feeling of wanting to explore space will not be stopped if the space program shuts down, so there’s no point of trying…

Firstly, I would like to start off by saying that I believe space exploration can really be a waste of time and money. Though some of the discoveries might be interesting to us on Earth, I fail to see why people and companies (like NASA) spend so much money on things that don’t help us very much when there are people dying every second due to hunger and illness.…

Man is God's best creation. His intelligence and thirst for knowledge has led him to explore even the impossible. The exploration of space by man is an example of his thirst for knowledge and desire for adventure. This is also one of the greatest achievements of man. Space contains the whole universe including all the planets, the sun, the moon and the stars. The limit where the earth's atmosphere ends is called outer space.…

Space technology is very expensive and needs a colossal investment. Meanwhile we need much money to cope with urgent issues on Earth for example pollution, education and health services, etc. As you know, nowadays our environment has been rapidly degraded. Our life is threatened by natural disasters such as flood, rises in sea levels, drought. Unless government invests more money in recycling rabbits, using environmentally friendly energies… in order to curb greenhouse gas emissions, our planet will become uninhabitable place. Furthermore, some scientists believe that once explored a new planet where human being could live we can send our people from Earth to this planet. So we can reduce population pressures on earth. But I do think that if on Earth we can not tackle existing issues we will have to face the same things in a new environment.…

I think there are many advantages and disadvantages of space exploration. One advantage being we have the technology and capability to go into space and learn about the vast world that lies outside of this planet. There is so much we can learn about the universe that we can apply to our own planet. Also, space exploration can reveal some phemonenas that can affect our own planet such as solar flares and metorites. These are important to understand because the environment outside of the planet affects our planet. Also, provides information about other life outside of the planet.…

There are many reasons on why space exploration has become a necessity for us, as the amount of money being invest on space exploration, has increased drastically. From 1950’s the amount of money spend was 89 million which was a large sum of money back then. While we move up in the years the amount of money on space exploration increases, for instance in the year 2010 it was the most amount of money spent on space exploration than any other year. A total of 18,724 million dollars has been spending. The process of space exploration is done by taking money and investing in new technology so they can study deeper into space. Certainly exploring space today has its benefits, not only for survival of human life later on, but can also make life on earth more convenient. Space exploration is worth the cost, but not how the money is being spent. Although space exploration is and could be very beneficial, there is no point in spending trillions of dollars a year on technology which is still relatively basic. Space exploration is worth the cost, but not to the extent of spending trillions of dollars a year, for instance spending money in the right area, creating more benefits. Space exploration has the potential to bring together the people of this world, and it has a potential to form a better nation, whether it is by developing more technologies, or to help humans to progress as a species. Space exploration is a commanding operation that will benefit the nation and a more steady economy.…
