Earning a Master Business Administration Degree

      As a working adult pursuing a Masters Business Aminstration Degree (MBA). I know

most of some dream about creating a better life for ourselves and our family. We hope that life

will get better, we dream about life getting better, we pray that they will get better, and some

even believe that life will get better. Though, in spite of our hope, our wishes, our prayers and

our faith, life tend to stay about the same as they have always been. Now lest you be offended at

the suggestion that   prayer doesn't work, I am only suggesting that while our prayers work, prayer

also require that we work and that we work in faith that our career and eduaction will produce a

justified harvest.

       The unalterable truth is that for thigns to really change for us, we must change,

otherwise things are going to stay about like the have always been. We make a futile

attempt if we chase success, because success is not to be pursued, it is to be attracted by

what we become, to have more, we must first become more.

      I hate to admit it, though this is a mistake that I made for the past year.   Chasing

success after I completed my undergraduate degree.    I found myself chasing   Management

positions that was not attracted to me because I was the lacking the   preferred degree, which in

most corportations is an MBA.   I figured that I have 13 years in the communication field and that

my undergraduate degree was enough to advance in my career.   Problem is that not all

organizations have the same structure so an undergrauate was not enough to obtain that

management position that I desired.   After a year of chasing, I decided to become more and set a

goal to obtain my MBA to fulfill my personal and professional dreams.   Obtaining an MBA will
