E.E Cummings
        The writer of my choice is E.E Cummings. I chose him due to his witty deliverances through his poetry. I believe that he belongs in our literary canon due to his style of writing. When you have an individual who puts so much work and effort into creating more than just random poetry and rambling words, that person is truly talented. His significance in the literary scene labels him not only as one the best writers of the twentieth century but also an artist. Cummings wrote life through poetry and he created life with his artworks. The way he combined his paintings with his writing he called it his “Twin Obsessions” to the literary scene they should call it genius. He considered his painting and writing efforts as an equal foot in his talent. The way he applied his curiosity and attention to his craft in his paintings it is said that’s the same way he would approach his writings as well as adding an aesthetic principle. Cummings showed how to bring together two things that he was passionate about and not leaving one half done or completing it with less interest. Critics said that his poetry is cited in an experimental form, his use of subtle perception, grammar, and word coinage makes his work an art that led, not one that was followed. E.E Cummings belonged to his own individualistic class and that is very true.
          Most readers who have come across this type of poetry may or may not have understood the full meaning because one thing that there is to notice is his tone. Cummings wrote his stories somewhat unparallel and finished it off with a hint of sarcasm. His point of view was not always the easiest to decipher, though his titles made it very clear what the work was going to be about.
