Dunn's River Falls & Park is the perfect environment for fun and relaxation for the entire family. Visitors can make the 600 feet climb from the base of the falls, hand-in-hand like a human daisy chain, guided by competent staff. Guides at Dunn's River Falls are skilled at leading you up the falls and can use your camera to take your picture as you pose under the many falls. The not so daring can walk alongside and observe the falls and climbers from many entry points; while taking those memorable photographs. For those sun lovers; there is a beach located at the base of Dunns River Falls where the river meets the ocean. Dunn’s River Falls at 600 feet is in fact so well known that the parking lot on the compound is an enormous sea of tour buses. Climbing Dunn’s River Falls is a group activity as each group gets a guide. The guides instruct their groups to hold hands, so there is in fact a chain formation going up the falls which makes the trip upwards more safe and fun for everyone. When visiting Dunn’s River Falls please be sure to wear swimwear, aqua socks or just an old pair of shoes that you do not mind getting wet to shield your feet and avoid excess slipping when climbing the falls. Also remember to bring a waterproof camera. Although the climbing area is usually crowded, the walk up the waterfalls is always lots of fun.
