Experiences as a Writer

Many things come to my mind when i think about my experiences as a writer. From a child writing has always been a major part of my life. In my opinion I feel it is safe to say that writing is a part of most people daily lives. I have had good and bad experiences throughout my life as a writer. During my life as a writer i experienced many changes in my early childhood years, teen-age years and adult years.
My first experience of writing that i can remember was in my early childhood years, writing in elementary school. I learned the basics of writing and how to place my thoughts down on paper. It was then that i learned how much a person will use writing utensils for the rest of their lives. As a young writer I enjoyed writing. I learned early that I would use writing to express myself as an individual. My first experience with writing in my early childhood years was great.
During my teen-age years I learned to hate writing and English. I simply got bored of writing. I remember in English class during high school being forced to write about things that I did not care to write about. I lost a lot of interest in writing and started reading more during my teen-age years. During my teenage years I had bad experiences with writing and almost lost my compassion to write.
By entering in college as an adult I learned to appreciate writing more. As i mention earlier writing has become a part of my daily life. I am a dad now so I have the honor of teaching my son how to write. As a student in college I plan to continue to have great writing experiences. I want to learn how to expand my writing skills and become a better writer. During my adult years I continue to have great experiences with writing.
My writing experiences changed during my childhood years, teen-age years and adult years. I mostly had great experiences but I did have a point in my life that I did not care much about writing. Without... [continues]
