Dominican republic beaches
As I lay here in the creamy white sand sipping on my fruity drink with one of those cute umbrellas in them, I think to myself this is what heaven must be like. There are so many beautiful places in the around the world. So many places to pick and choose from to go on vacation. Hands down the best places I went on vacation had to be the island of Dominican Republic, the scenery alone was just breath taking and the people handing me the fruity drinks weren’t too bad either. As soon as you step out of the plane, you’re greeted with the sound of live bachata music playing throughout the airport. Then once you step outside your eyes dart directly to the horizon where you see all these beautiful hills and placed strategically across all the hills are these little homes spread out everywhere. Then we hop into this old broken town taxi that looks like it will leave you stranded on the side of the rode and head off to our hotel. Now the roads in Dominican Republic are nothing like the roads in the US. They have gaping potholes throughout most of the road, also there are minimal to none road sign or traffic lights; if there are most of the natives choose to ignore them. Driving in the Dominican Republic is a constant panic attack, but one you reach your resort it’s all worth it. We finally reach the pearly white gates of our resort and as we pull in and drive slowly down the coble road there are these beautiful florescent flowers hidden among the elongated tress along the road. We pull up to the front of the resort and they exchange our bags for these bright pink fruity drinks with those cute little umbrellas in them. Then they lead my family and I to our rooms and as they stopped in front of the door that would be my room the anticipation only grew stronger. They slid the key card in the slot and slowly opened my door and my mouth just dropped. Beyond the door was this beached themed room, on the wall where pictures of the scenery of the island, the bed was queen size

We arrived in Los Angeles, California. The hotel we stayed in was one of the best hotels I've ever been in. This hotel was so big and fancy, and the weight room that was there was bigger than the fitness center back home. This hotel also had two pools. The outdoor pool looked really beautiful, because it had a giant water fall leading into the pool, but it was closed down while we were was staying there, so I just used the normal everyday hotel pool, which was indoors. It was very incredible to see something like this on how beautiful a single hotel could be, and look.…

The Dominican Republic, known for its beautiful beaches and balmy weather, was the last place I ever imagined I would find myself in this past summer vacation. On this week long trip, it wasn't for the warm ocean waves or the traditional Dominican cuisine I was called to, I was called to serve the beautiful Dominican people. On the third day of the trip, instead of heading out to the worksite where we had been pouring the concrete footers of a plastics and water filter factory, I opted to travel with a group to the childrens' cancer ward in Santiago and visit the patients. We started out our visit by performing a few dances we had taught our vacation bible school and handing out fun little gift we had brought with us. We played ball with some…

There once was a time that I went to cabo San Lucas Mexico with my family. The reason that this trip was so special too was because I got to spend a whole week with my grandparents, aunts and uncles and most importantly my parents. When we first got we went to are rooms and put are thing down then went right down to the pool. I can still remember the way the pool look and felt because I got cut on one of the tiles in the pool. One there reasons I liked the pool so much is you could just sit there and watch the sun set. Then the next day I went fishing on the beach that was so cool casting out a fishing line and sitting there waiting with family there beaches are so beautiful and nice like the ones you see in TV commercials. I haven’t even got to the best part they have a little cruise called sunset cruise. You rode on a pirate ship and watch people fight and watch the sun go down. I was a lot like the movie call peter pan. This little cruise was so special because in a hurry and I got locked out of my room I forgot to wear shoes so I was without shoes that whole night. There is one restraints that you have to go to when you are there I mean they have unreal food. They have huge tacos filled with anything you want with beans, rice and a side salad. I can taste it now. I also remember the time I went with my grandparents to the beach after the sun went down with one of my uncles. You have experienced nothing until that happened I mean the sand nice and cold between your toes swimming in the ocean you feel so free and wild. That is why cabo San Lucas Mexico is so special to me. I have a lot of good memories there with my…

I live in a country full of rich resources. Our weather is like a bittersweet lotion that replenishes the skin. People from all over the world come to my land for these things called "vacations". Vacations bring in nothing but good memories, smiles, and family. A vacation is a fairytale here in Columbia. The beautiful landscapes are just a pinch of reality that are on the brochures, websites, and posters. Sometimes when I look at these Americanized pictures of Columbia I wish I was there. The true story of Columbia starts in the city of Bogata located in the mountains. I am a young girl. I will not disclose my name or age because what I'm about to tell you about my culture and land are hands on things my soul has been through; which may upset…

My most memorable place would have to be Panama City beach, FL. I found out about this hot and wild vacation spot while I was a high school student. From tenth grade to twelfth I was constantly hearing about spring break in Panama City. The best time during the school year to go was always on spring break because spring break was always a week long and around that time panama was always live. I was drawn to Panama City beach because after the spring break of the year was over students were constantly talking about what a good time they had, how nice the beach was, and how much fun and thick the parties were every night the break took place.…

I was finally entering “India” again, after a month-long sojourn into a world of Himalayan calm, yoga and Tibetan Buddhism (Dharamsala hardly feels like India). Was I ready to free fall back into the masala mania? While the traveler in me was excited to get back on the explorer’s road; the solo gal in me was dreading it. Having found roots for a month in my yoga-family cocoon, I wasn’t thrilled with going back to solo-roughing it. Fortunately when you flow with the universe, it provides you with what you need; thankfully, it granted me friends who wanted to visit the next city on my list– Amritsar.…

We stop at a stop light in a town right outside of Panama, we roll down the windows and you can smell the salty ocean water. We are finally here after twelve long leg cramping, neck hurting, and back wrenching hours in the car. It was all worth it though just thinking about getting your toes in the tan hot sand. Once we were finally in the city and driving down the strip we rolled down the windows and just admired the view of the ocean and all the waves crashing in. I couldn’t wait to get to the condo and be able to go out into the water.…
