Trees…Release oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide to freshen the air we breathe. Each of us inhales 35 pounds of oxygen daily, all from plants. Every day we need seven trees to convert our carbon dioxide to oxygen. Remove ozone and other air pollutants, as well as trap dust and dirt... Save energy and reduce cooling costs. Trees act like air conditioners, releasing cooling moisture into the air. Trees play a significant part in reducing erosion and moderating the climate. They remove carbon dioxide from the atmosphere and store large quantities of carbon in their tissues. Trees and forests provide a habitat for many species of animals and plants. Tropical rainforests are one of the most biodiverse habitats in the world.
