Do you have a favourite sport
Do you have a favorite sport, one that you want to do more than any other, play it on a team, every day and every weekend? This summer I had to make the hardest decision, yet, in my life. I had to choose between dance, that I have been doing since I was 3 years old, and soccer. Dance and soccer practice were scheduled at the same time on the same day. Soccer is my passion; this is why I made the decision to continue soccer. I enjoy the challenge of practice, the running, and skill workouts give me confidence. I love the thrill of scoring a goal, and there is nothing to compare with the feeling when my team wins. Soccer is team sport, the rules are different for different age groups. When I was younger the field was short and less people were on the field during a game, now I am 11, I play 11 aside, that is the highest number the team plays. At practice there are much more than 11 of us, we have 20 girls on our team, that gives us some extras in case someone is sick, injured or cannot make it to a game.

There are no time outs and no commercial breaks during a game. The duration of a game is 90 minutes, with 45 minute halves, and a 15 minute halftime. In addition, although this applies to every soccer player, professional or amateur you must not touch the ball with your hands, from your fingertips, all the way up to your shoulders. And you must wear cleats and shin guards while you’re playing. These are some essential guidelines of soccer but there are many more.…
