As humans, we use language almost every day, as we continually communicate information. We are the intelligent being that is able to think and communicate effectively. Communication and language is a process every child learns from birth, and we continue to use it until our death.
In a society, language is the development of our basic form of communication between us, humans. And just as it is the basic form, it is also the most developed. We cannot communicate without language, other than through movements, we do communicate through some non-verbal forms like the visual arts like painting and sculpture, and through dance, but the true fluent communication is through language.
The role of language in communication is crucial in this process of relationships. Language shapes reality, and it limits what ideas and concepts are available in a particular situation. The communication process is used in every kind of relationship. It could be in a friendship, a significant other, a family, and many more.
Language is certainly the most essential quality human beings have inherited. It is our only way to communicate, and it sure is fascinating how we can convert our thoughts into words. Since language lets us express our feelings, I think learning a second language gives us valuable life skills, as well as, a wider vision of today’s world.
Undoubtedly the most interesting thing about language is how influential words can be. Since language is our most important, if not the only, means of communication, I think it actually brings people together
