DISTRIBUTION STRATEGIES Habib jewels Sdn Bhd. , one of the Malaysia indeed Southeast Asia’s leading jewelry stores, has achieved a lot since it opened up as a small shop on Penang’s Street, which is also called as ‘Jeweler’s Corner’ in 1958. In order to become succesful Habib Jewels Sdn Bhd is very particular and careful towards its distribution strategies. Habib Jewels Sdn Bhd. is a company involves in manufacturing, wholesaling, retailing and marketing jewelry including products such as necklaces, rings, bangles and many more. In order to get the products to the costomer, Habib Jewels Sdn Bhd has acted as a wholesaler. The owner in the first place started out buying jewelry by wholesale or auction of the pawnshop after the expiration of the lease. Habib Jewels Sdn Bhd has now became one of the largest diamond purchasers in Malaysia covering clients not only from our own country but also from Indonesia, Brunei, Singapore, United States and also Europe. Other than that, the company also manufacture its own gems and diamond. Personally going to Mumbai, Belgium, and U.S.A to obtain supply which then designed and manufactured by their pool of local expert jewellers. In the process of getting the product to the cutomers Habib Jewels Sdn Bhd. has opened branches of retail shops. The company has 15 retails outlets throughout the country and workforce of more than 100 at its headquarters at Ampang Point, Selangor, in which they sell the products they has purchased or manufactured. Some of the outlets are located at Alamanda (Putrajaya), Alpha Angle (Kuala Lumpur), Gurney Plaza (Penang) and numbers of other stores across the coutry.

Furthermore they are starting to open outlets in foreign countries namely Indonesia and Singapore. Indonesians and Singaporians, who comprised the company’s biggest foreign customers, also frequently patronised its outlets when visiting Malaysia.
