Cable networks operations enjoys significant reach The company’s cable network business has significant reach. Walt Disney’s cable networks group operates the ESPN, Disney Channels Worldwide, ABC Family and SOAPnet networks. ESPN is a multimedia, multinational sports entertainment company that operates eight 24-hour domestic TV sports networks. ESPN networks reach customers in 200 countries and territories in 16 languages including a live sports network in the UK.
