Religion is not only about the belief of a person. It is actually something that adds meaning and purpose to one's life. Believing in a kind of religion gives us the gift of appreciating the past, understanding the present, and hoping for the future. Imagine a life that is of meaning, and hope. It is more uplifting than just living in a plain state of mind. Religion is not actually the reason why we cease to seek for the truth. It is the key for us to grow in spirituality and will teach how to live life the proper way. Among the many different types of religion, here are some of the most common ones. Christianity it is one of the religions which have the most followers. It is an Abrahamic religion that is centered on God, to be the highest and only God, Jesus Christ, whom is God's only begotten son, and the Holy Spirit. There are some issues that are surrounding this type of religion. Other religions question about the existence of the Devil and the Trinity. Also debating issues is about the coming of the apocalypse. Other than that, Christianity is centered on love, purity, kindness, service, and others. It is a religion which encourages its followers to do good for others as well as following God's Ten Commandments. Islam this religion has now more than one billion followers around the world. Muslims worship their god named Allah. They believe in angels, and to their prophet Muhammad which they said to be their latest prophet. Muslims follow strict rules and customs. They follow their traditions very carefully. This is why Muslim countries have kept their traditions and customs over the generations. Islam is one of those few religions that really hold on to their belief no matter how the world advances. Judaism this is the belief between the relationship between God and His chosen Jewish people. Jews believe that if they follow God's laws, God will reward them and will support them. Judaism is the oldest of all the Abrahamic religions. It has gone through lots of issues as well as its ups and downs all throughout the history. It has been faced with exiles, destruction, victories, revolutions, rebuilding, and many others. But still, it has made its way through our future generation.
