It`s a very difficult decision for all the guitarists choose between a fender and Gibson guitars because both of them have a fantastic sound in general one can say that each guitar is used for different styles of music so I`ll mention the characteristics of them.

Fender is Music Company that was founded in 1940 by Leo fender and since that moment the company has created various models of guitars like Fender telecaster, Fender Stratocaster, Fender squier, Fender jaguar, etc. The Fender uses a semi-curved mast that makes more easy do guitar solos ,it uses a single coil making it more useful even you can play many genres like blues, jazz, hard, rock even folk music we can say that it’s a complete guitar . There are a lot famous guitarist that used this kind of guitar like Eddie Van Halen, Kurt Cobain, Jimmy Hendrix, George Harrison, etc.

Gibson is one of the most successful companies around the world in the fabrication of guitars it was founded by Orville Gibson in 1902 in Michigan USA he started to create them by hand because there weren’t machines that created guitars his time the first models were so amazing that many guitarists wanted Gibsons guitars. The guitars were great because it had a sound that produced and echo in every note besides it is made of mahogany and korina wich are very resistant wood. Its sound is more hot or more distorted than other guitars, this kind of guitar is usually used to plat rock, hard rock and metal many guitarists recommend this brand like Jimmy Page,Slash,Carlos Santana, Kirt Hammet,Angus Young, etc.

In conclusion I want to express that the fender and Gibson`s guitar are execellent for every person but choose between both depence of the style of music that we have to play , you will choose the best that makes play the guitar easier.
