Determined to Succeed Change
Determination, a simple word yet with a variety of ways to implement it to one’s advantage. The root word itself can already piece together the value af this word, from the general outlook of the people, it is the drive, the feeling of one’s mind, the fire that heats up the body that keeps them in headstrong shape, to attain what their tired bodies had to go through just to achieve their goals. It is the confirmed direction in one’s vision, the path given to the person’s will to keep running, to overcoming obstacles, to never backing down and through it all, to achieve what are wanted to achieve. It is the influence to those who wish to implement it for their advantage has proven to be quite impressive; it can even change the cause of not only one’s life but the lives of many. It can develop the person even if the goal is not yet reached. So, to sum it up, determination, though a simple word that just means a simple push, has made man learn, grow, develop and improve. In my own views, determination is the drive to achieve, the push that just lets me keep on running for my own goals even as my body slowly weakens from the adversities I have to overcome, it is still there to keep me standing straight and still so for the goal. As like the old adage say, “There is no real wealth but the labor of man”, and only if there is determination in the man’s spirit, can true value be measured to not only the labor but also to man. Through the experience of life and understanding life’s lessons, determination drives me not to just succeed but also change. It pushes me to reach higher even as I falter, for life has bestowed upon me an opportunity and the price, the opportunity being that I could live it and the price as I live it, I am given obstacles that I must face, with only determination and many more in my arsenal, I am ready to face life.
