Dental Hygienists

One of the careers I am interested in pursuing is a dental hygienist. The details I will go over in this paper are the educational requirements, post-secondary programs, and why I am interested in pursuing the career dental hygienist. I am very interested in pursuing becoming a dental hygienist, however, in order to do that I must meet the educational requirements. Training to become a dental hygienist is available at community colleges as a two-year program and a university as three-year or four-year program. The educational requirements are available as two-year program at community colleges and available at universities as a two-year or three-year program. I am very interested in pursuing becoming a dental hygienist, however, in order to do that I must complete the post-secondary programs. The post-secondary programs you must take and pass in order is a written exam from the National Board Dental Hygiene Examination and the state licensure examination, as well as graduating from an educational program accredited by the American Dental Association Commission on Dental Accreditation. I am interested in become a dental hygienist for many reasons. The reasons why I am interested in becoming a dental hygienist because they help their patients prevent gum disease and cavities by applying fluoride to prevent tooth decay. Dental hygienists also have many options where they want to work such as hospitals, private dental offices, public health departments and more. The reason am I interested in becoming a dental hygienist is because of the variety of workplace options there is and the activities they participate in.
