Demi Lovato
Demi Lovato I am writing my essay on a well-known artist and actress known as Demi Lovato. Demi is a nineteen year old girl who had a dream of becoming famous with her best friend Selena Gomez. As a child Demi and Selena made YouTube videos called “The Demi and Selena Show”. As she grew older she became more public to the people on a show called “Sonny with a Chance” and then started producing her own music. On November 1, 2010 Demi Lovato checked herself into a medical center to get professional help for anorexia and bulimia.
I choose Demi as my role model because I have gone through some emotional things in my life lately and so I can somewhat relate to her situation. She is a strong teen who overcame something big and who now helps others who suffer with anorexia and bulimia. She is a role model to many young children who go through depression and/or kids who only desire to become famous as well. Demi is a big advocate of the “Go Green” campaign and does a lot of promote going green. Her and Selena has tried to save the earth along with all the Disney channel people, she has also made people happy by living.
I would say by choosing Demo Lovato as my role model I have tried to think of more goals for myself and ways to complete them. My biggest goal would be to start overlooking the bad things in my life. One huge way of doing that would be changing my actions towards situations that may occur. Another goal would be helping others around me who may have a really hard time with dealing with self-issues. I’m really good with advice and knowing how to comfort people who need it the most and it would be an amazing thing to be able to put my gift into use. A third goal would be thinking more positive. I happen to be an extremely negative person and it’s hard to find the positivity in most things. Turning bad situations into good situations can be really hard for some people but I need to look past it and find a way to make the best out of everything that comes my
