Lesson Plan 1
Delivering a CV Writing Workshop
(2x half-day sessions)

Session 1 aim
To provide employees with the knowledge and skills to draft a quality CV.

Learning outcomes
By the end of the workshop, employees will:
- Understand the importance of a CV
- Understand the significance of preparation
- Be able to differentiate between a quality CV and a poorly written one
- Gain the skills to produce a draft CV

Delivery methods
Instructor led and will include group activities, discussion and examples to reinforce the learning.

Learning outcomes
By the end of the workshop, employees will:
- Review their current CV
- Gained the skills to produce a quality CV
- Highlight their skills and achievements
- Include relevant information about their career moves, qualifications and training and outside work interests
