Abstract
The purpose of this paper will be to examine what is marketing as a definition and a personal definition of the term. There will be explanation of the importance of marketing in an organizational success. What would be consider to marketing being such as success as though it does not just involve advertising and selling of goods and services as those are just two of the many marketing activities. In addition, there will be three different examples given from a business world prospective.
Marketing is the most valuable access to any part of a business. Marketing is about marketing does is anticipate the customer’s needs and what should be placed on them market and what group of consumers to sell it to and how they benefit from the product when needed.
There are many different meaning of marketing. Based on the American Heritage Dictionary marketing“is the act or process of buying and selling in a market. As well as it means the commercial functions involved in transferring goods from the producer to consumer”(American).
The importance of marketing is the deliverance of value and satisfaction to the consumer in many organizations. Marketing has a strong relationship that benefits the organizations and it stockholders, its produces a value to the consumers. If the special teams that comes up with the marketing strategy is successful in reaching the consumers then the overall the company benefits and that when the goal of providing an overall outstanding product is proven.
TXU Energy is one of the top performers when it comes to putting together a marketing strategy. This company marketing is based on selling electricity to consumers based on what is needed to small business companies or just residential customers.
