Decisions in Paradise Part I
Introduction
Kava is an island in the south Pacific. Kava is an island with much potential. Kava has a diverse ethnic mix of people. People of Kava speak several languages including English, Spanish, and French. Kava is a magnet to tsunamis, tidal waves, typhoons, hurricanes, tornadoes, floods, fires, volcanoes, earthquakes, HIV, petroleum spills, terrorism, and high risk for avian flu. Despite all of these threats, Kava is in a central area for exports and imports. Kava has an independent government receptive to bringing more revenue from different businesses. Nik, an executive assistant, is a key role player in the expansion of the business on the island of Kava. Several government officials have met with Chris Morales, Founder of Delta Airlines, and partners to find ways to repair and rebuild the island. Chris asked Alex and Nik to find ways to expand the business.
Analyzing and Evaluating the Situation
Kava has dealt with several natural disasters and the government is aiming for a successful road to recovery. With all the factors in place, Kava has to restructure strategically the island to make it safe for more tourists to enter the island and make it into an island paradise.   Kava has to deal with several natural disasters.   The government has to beautify the island by making the island more attractive in tourist areas.
Nik and Alex toured the island of Kava. Since the storms have passed and left the island of Kava in a state of emergency, a tour of the island revealed how disease-filled and trashed the island was. Several children   wonder around the island in search of food, clean water, and clothing. Many of the children on the island are displaced from their parents and they live in fear of what the future holds.
Nik realizes that the government of Kava will have to find more ways to advertise the sights and attractions of the island.... [continues]
