Spring Break Assignment:
1. DBQ You will prep for 6 different DBQs that will be given as a part of your final exam. You MAY NOT write on the DBQ packets. You MAY prepare one 3X5 card study guide for each DBQ. The notes must be handwritten and you will be turning in all of the 3X5 cards with your essay. You may write on both sides and may write whatever you wish on the cards. You will be writing one of these essays as part of your final. DUE WHEN YOU WRITE THE ESSAY
2. FRQ Study Guides (150 points in the essay category)
Each individual in class will be assigned one FRQ prompt. Your task is to create a study guide for your classmates for that prompt. It must be one page typed, single-spaced. It must fit on one side of the paper. You must get the information to fit on one side. It must be large enough font to read easily and the margins must be wide enough that they show all the information when copied. Write your name and block on the back NOT ON THE FRONT. Type the prompt number and the actual prompt at the top of the page. Do not type the actual essay or outline an answer. Do not give an opinion or analysis if that is what is called for. You are creating a list of outside information for all points of view. You may organize it however you think will be helpful for your classmates. You do not have to use complete sentences and may list information, but it must make sense (duh) and needs to take up the entire page of space. I will make copies of your paper to distribute. Both your peers and I will grade you on how complete, organized, helpful (and correct) your information is. 100 points is my valuation and 50 points is your ranking by your peers. You MAY NOT cut and paste from sources. I strongly suggest you use the “big” textbook and additional outside research. Everything must be in your own words, and yes, you will be putting it on turnitin. DUE the Tuesday after spring break for ALL CLASSES *Note: This doc is 11 point font with 1”... [continues]
