Answers for Chapters 13 & 14:

1)
My current barangay is located which is Brgy. San Agustin is located at Hagonoy in the province of Bulacan. Brgy. San Agustin is just one of the barangays that is subsided by flood every time a typhoon hits and whenever there is a high tide. But the problem will not just end there because the flood will stay in our place for a week. Even though flood is all over the place we do not care much of it, I think because we are so used to it. We tried a lot of solutions for this matter but not even one works. Now let’s talk about on the happy moments in our barangay. Every time there is a feast of a particular saint, you can hear the songs that the bands are playing, the angelic voices of the participants of the singing competition, you can also see the wonderful performance of street dancers, and different kinds of images of the saint that celebrates its feast day.

2) I think I will propose a project that will mainly control the flood in our place. It was the main problem that we are facing almost every day. Although we are already used to it, I don’t want my future son/daughter to experience this kind of situations which is so hard. I will ask some help to experts to make my project effective, because some of the Chairmen and Councilors that were elected in barangay have been already proposed projects about this matter but it only lasted for short period of time. Even I don’t have much power and intelligence to make an effective project I think with the help of the people in our barangay and my family we can accomplish this.

When analyzing the commerce in the Indian Ocean Region from 650 CE to 1750 CE there were many changes and continuities. A significant consistency was the use of the trade routes because the traders and economic groups in the region continued to use the area to complete their transactions of exports and imports. A large change that happened was the increased involvement of the Europeans. Because over time they started to partake in the trading due to their colonizing of the region in order to create economic ambition.…

The Silk Roads became an important role for trade by exchanging goods, religions, ideas, and technology. The Silk roads consisted of land routes from China to the Roman Empire and sea lanes as well. These routes were dependent on imperial stability from the empires that controlled them. The merchants on the Silk Roads also relied on the empires to keep them safe while they traded and traveled. Between 200 B.C.E and 1450 B.C.E, the dominant religion changed from Buddhism to Islam and the security and stability of the routes changed from the Persian Empire to the Turks and Mongols; on the other hand, there was a constant spread of disease and the spreading of technology and ideas stayed the same.…
