What is Culture?
Culture can be defined as the totality of communication practices and systems of meaning; a whole way of life of a people; the social production and reproduction of sense; meaning and consciousness. Culture does not only express the way of people`s life but it actively shapes up that way of life. Culture is the shared set of assumptions, values, and beliefs of a group of people by which they organize their common life. Why it is important for us?

It is the culture that makes human animal to man. It regulates his conduct and prepares him for group life. It teaches him what type of food he should take and what manners, how he should cover himself and behave with the fellows, how he should speak and influence the people, how he should co-operative and compete with other. To better understand the importance of culture, One must know that where does culture comes from; * How do people get their culture?

* How do they learn all the behaviors that are regarded as right and wrong in their society? The ability of people to learn and adapt new things is a process of cultural conditioning and it can be found in every culture, but the specific behaviors that people have, the precise content of their conditioning, is different from group to group. Everyone knows that common culture come mainly from a common history which shapes our mind and so have influence on our behavior or way of thinking. The most important part of your culture will be acquired during your childhood, but you will acquire new behaviors until the end of your life: * In Childhood: children learn basics activities as eating, walking, talking, dressing, bathing, etc. These basics are the origin of the future children’s behavior. * As Adults: people learn new behavior or new ways to perform thanks to education, travels, etc. Adults learn how to adapt themselves.
