Culture is plays a key role in the operations of a business, functions and companies and it influences the behavior of the individual in the organization and development of the business. The elements of the culture are language, norms, dress code, religion and beliefs, social collectives. The learning of cross-culture to develop other international managers but also helps to their teams and organizations to navigate for better global market. Managing across culture assume the similarities and differences between two countries. Each and every country has unique culture and characteristics which provide competitive advantages.
INTRODUCTION
Due to the globalization, world became small village. In 2000, Marshall McLuhan called the ‘global village’. Management approaches, account policies, and execution styles are vary among the countries around the globe.
Survey conducted by Harvard Business Review ‘the idea of a corporate global village where a common culture of management unifies the practice of business around the world is more dream than realty’.
According to Geert Hofstede's measures of national culture and social progress (1991) “Cultural Difference” within the countries involved in the getting holds of. The performance of the business is positively and significantly linked to the “cultural distance” between the countries. The business involvement between un-similar cultures countries do better than similar cultured companies of the countries.
