Last Monday, 2 November 2009 was the most tiring, challenging, exciting and valuable memories to me.   On that beautiful day, all of the TESL students were engaged on an exhibition based on two main topics which were communication and culture and society.   The exhibition was under the subject of Social Studies. It was held along the corridor at the Dataran Ilmu.   There were four classes of TESL students and each of the class was divided into four smaller groups. One group consist of five participants. There were 16 groups of TESL students all together.   Before the exhibition was held, we were given the freedom to choose any theme we want.  
And as for my group, after gaining a final understanding, we have selected the theme on Culture and Society.   Under the theme, we have picked the subtopic Culture Diversity as our exhibition’s topic. We chose this topic mainly because the topic itself had caught our interest. From my point of view, compared to communication, culture has more content to be elaborated. The exhibition that was held has its own purpose. Based on the topic Culture Diversity, I think the purpose for the exhibition was mainly to promote a good mutual understanding of culture and to recognize the diversity of a culture in various societies in various countries around the world.
Two weeks before the exhibition, my group and I were struggling to find the information.   Some of the group members including me went to the State Library just to search for the information.   Apart from that, my friends and I managed to get some material from our house, like antique teapot, wedding stuff, Chinese traditional slippers and so much more to be displayed as realia during the exhibition.
The night before the exhibition was the tiring moment for my group, everything needs to be perfect.   We were all slept very late around 5:00 a.m.   We spent all night pasting our information on the board.   The board was really heavy and yes, we have to carry them from our hostel to...
