Critically Discuss The Potential Issues The Company May Face In Implementing The New IS
Critically discuss the potential issues the company may face in implementing the new IS by replacing the current manual systems

Implementing a new system to replace the manual system that is currently being used by this establishment will cause some issues that are easily handled. The implementation of the new Information System will cause some if not all of the following:-
1. The workers does not fully understand the usage/concept of the system, and not using the system to its full capabilities
2. Workers and or admin level staff might be ‘lost in cyberspace’
3. Mishandling of student data
4. Hacks and unauthorized entry into the system
These are some of the problems that might happen during and or after the installation of the system. It will however cause problems to the entire staff system and make data not go to where it was supposed to go. The definitions of the problems (in order) are as follows:-
1. The workers does not fully understand the usage/concept of the system, and not using the system to its full capabilities
With the implementation of the new system, the staff will not be able to fully understand the system as to what the purpose of the usage is. This in part will cause an inefficient work process in which will cause loss (of data and or revenue)
They will not be able to transfer data as effectively as it is supposed to be used.

2. Workers and or admin level staff might be ‘lost in cyberspace’
This explains the inability for the workers and or the admin staff to navigate the system effectively thus being ‘lost in cyberspace’. This in part will cause confusion to the workers and admin staff regarding what button does what and what text field is for what information.
These slow down the effective process of the system (due to human errors) and have a risk of totally abandoning the system usage.

3. Mishandling of student data
This can refer to two possibilities which are:-
i. Student data lost within the system
For new users of the system, data

The first error that I will explain is failing to accountability for employee to learn safe machine operation methods by experimenting on their own. This error will allow them to exclude a step by step process, which a step by step process is what makes the organization operate at its best. I believe that the employees will benefit and develop their own way of processing these machines operations to better their job performance. Keeping a minimum routine can reduce the quality of product. The second error is training all employees with the same orientation program regardless of the cultural interpretation. In the United States, we live in a huge diverse world as time changes and also we retrieve the information given to us differently as well as how we interpret the information. The main point of managers is not to compare or contrast any situation, but to correct the way of everyone’s training. Our text mentions, postmodern and complexity adaptive system that both of them address problems between what people observe and what they think…

Mr. Edens is the CEO of Electronic Banking System Inc., a company that belongs to a small but expanding financial service. Before founding EBS, he worked as a financial controller for National Rifle Association. In this case you can see that he has a very strict control over his workers. The environment in which his employees have to work in is comparable to a cage. He requires them to process three envelopes a minute as well as being absolutely silent at the same time. Mr. Edens covers up all objects that could be used as a distraction to his workers. This enables the employees to be able to perform their job perfectly. His employee’s desks are pointed to cameras that are covered by plants that allow him to watch his workers whenever he wants to observe them. Because workers are not allowed to have a social life, they prefer to socialize with one another during their lunch break. Hard Candy is the only allowed snack during work and not focusing on the actual work is nearly impossible. If someone makes a mistake, an error message will appear on their screen saying so. Mr. Edens says no one is expected to think because the machines are doing all the thinking for them. All he expects is that everyone keeps working and that they do not waste any of his valuable time. Mr. Edens does not like people wasting his time, that is the reason why he has many harsh rules. While Mr. Edens’ employees have hard schedules with long shifts, it seems like the minimum wage does not compare to the amount of work they are assigned to finish. The workers that have a family have to manage their time wisely in order to be able to have any time with their family. It is complicated for them to be with their family because of the long shifts they have to work for Mr. Edens. These types of jobs are stressful on a persons life. Therefore, it makes trying to have a normal life outside of the business office is very hard. Even during the employees work breaks their life is sometimes influenced by…
