1) Who is poorer, men or women?
My answer: women.
Actual answer: I’m not sure I found the right information, but it looks like men are actually poorer.
2) What age shows the most poverty? Why?
My answer: Early 20’s because of education and lack of jobs paying enough to covers all bills.
Actual answer: In men, 6-11 years old shows the most poverty. In women, ages under 5 years old were the poorest because low wages and unstable employment leave their families struggling to make ends meet.
3) Which family type is the poorest?:
-married couple/family
-male/no wife/family
-female, no husband/family
My answer: female, no husband/family.
Actual answer: female, no husband/family. Percentages were: married couple/family, 14.3%. Male, no wife/family, 11.6%. Female, no husband/family, 74%.
4) How does age affect poverty in Worcester?
My answer: I feel age affects poverty in Worcester because as things increasingly get more expensive, the younger generation doesn’t have enough income to cover it all. Children have the most poverty because they’re typically not working and living in households that are struggling to make ends meet.
Actual answer: Age affects poverty by living in households that can’t manage to afford everything they need to survive; also the reasoning behind why children are the poorest.

My answer: 50%, 30%, 15%
Actual answer: 40.3%, 21.8%, 5.9%
