The origin of the Secular Humanism grew out of Enlightment and freethinking during the 18th and 19th centuries. In other words, it is a philosophy and a world view that focuses on human issues and applies rational and scientific tools to come to a resolution to the wide rangeof issues that is important to society and us, as individuals. Also, is was an organized philosophical system, somewhat new, but its foundation could be found within the ideas of classical Greek philosophers and in Chinese Confusianism; their views looks to human beings rather than gods to solve our human problems. Secular Humanist distinguish themselve as being very committed to the focusing of the humanist goals outside of the religious norm. Although we think that they are either atheist or agnostic; society doesn't define their selves in that light; rather they prefer what was valued to them: free inquires, freedom, moral excellence, critical thinking, reason, scienctific methods and a strong regards for other human beings. The identity of the secular humanism is based on (1) their initial name "Humanism", (2) their Humanist symbol, the "Happy Human" , and (3) they recognize the fact that Humanism is a life stance. In addition, the Humanist have created various Humanist Manifestos,'in the attempt to unify the Humanist identity'. Originally, the first Humanist Manifesto of 1933, stated that they were religious humanist; which talks about a new religion and states that humanism was a religious movement meant to change and/or replace previous deity-based system. However, this so-called religion does not believe in any god. Since this, there has been two additional Manifestos to replace the first; which states that the faith and knowledge are required for a vision for the future.
