ABSTRACT

In a world where people work hard to live well, danger is always present. It is all the same for those who blow up firecrackers and sound crackers to take caution in their works. In this investigatory study, researchers find an alternative for firecrackers in such a way that it produces no gas pollutants and that is safer to operate. The group applied the concept of the hydrolyzation of water with baking soda to harvest hydrogen and oxygen to be used as fuel for the sound cracker. And after testing the sound cracker for consistency in the intensities of sound produced, the group was able to conclude that a sound cracker made from the hydrolization of water with baking soda is functional, safe to use and is loud enough to be called and sound cracker.

DEDICATION

The researchers dedicate this project to God for helping us and being with us all the time and for making all of these possible. To the group that provided cooperation and understanding throughout the hardships and the fun. To our friends who were always there to cheer and relax us in times of failure. To our parents and relatives that gave their support, love and comments to make this research better. To all the teachers who bestowed us with knowledge. To the section 4th year Ampere school year 2009-2010 for sharing their excitement and interest in this project and most specially, the researchers dedicate this project to all explosion loving Filipinos.
