Dear Hiring Manager,
You need a potential employee with a meticulous attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. My entry level experience and status as a human resource management student at University of Milwaukee make me an ideal candidate for a Human Resource intern at Johnson Controls.
My 5 years in clerical and customer service have given me a solid foundation for this position. I am comfortable performing a wide range of job duties independently and as a team. At Payless Shoe Store, I learned it was very important to have an eye for detail. When dealing with customers, being an active listener to understand their needs was important in order to give them a high level of customer service. In addition, at Willow Pointe Apartment Homes as an onsite compliance manager’s assistant, I learned that it was very important to be organized. When working with new residents, being a consistent task performer with good organizational skills proved that I can manage big responsibilities.
I am eager to bring my commitment to maintaining high levels of performance through the gain and development of key talent to Johnson Controls. I would greatly appreciate the opportunity to discuss my qualifications with you.
I have enclosed my resume, which further details my achievements. I look forward to speaking with you to discuss my interest in working for your company and the fresh approach I would bring to the position. I appreciate your consideration and thank you for your time.
