Courage
In everyday life you are faced with obstacles that may see hard to get through. Some in which make you give up on dreams and goals that you plan for yourself. We live in a world where everything is consistently changing. How we communicate, learn, and share is changing more and more every day. Throughout all the challenges you come across you must be persistent in order to be successful. You have to show enthusiasm and always have a positive demeanor. You have to have the courage to step up and take the initiative to overcome any road blocks that may come you way.
So why does it take courage to possess and display qualities of persistence and enthusiasm? Courage allows you to step out of your comfort zone stretching the limits towards a more meaningful outcome. It is a scary feeling when you think about standing up to something you are afraid of. It takes courage to push forward when pushed back. It takes courage to continue moving forward when everyone criticizes you. Most important it takes courage to rise up and lead the way when others are filed with fear.
Displaying enthusiasm is another form of communication. Body language is an important aspect of how we communicate. I personally believe that when you’re enthused your passion for what you like motivates you to work harder. It helps you completely commit to your goals and focus more on the future. Enthusiasm will also drive you without causing the stress and depression that can come with feeling like what you do doesn’t matter.

Winston Churchill once said, “Courage is what it takes to stand up and speak; courage is also what it takes to sit down and listen.” Churchill’s definition of courage has this duality to it in the sense that courage is not just being able to fight this and that, but it is also being able to control that and fight only when necessary. Courage can be defined in so many ways and have so many aspects, but what is true courage? Despite common belief, courage is not just doing everything possible to help people because even helping others can cause damage. Aspects of true courage include control, including giving up control, as well as the ability to give it your all or even give nothing. In its purest form, courage is the ability to assess a situation and decide whether standing up and fighting or standing down and letting go of control is the best thing to do to for the greatest good. This definition of courage can be seen when standing up or standing down can aggravate a situation, help other people, and advance situations if not done in the proper moment.…

Fear exists in everyone. No one lives without fear. Being fearless is not required to be courageous, one has to overcome fears in order to possess courage. Risks are involved when overcoming fears and going against the norm. Risks come in different types, risking life, risking reputations, risking limb. The greatest risk “is not taking any risk” (Mark Zuckerberg). A person must have courage to endure each particular risk. A person who is not courageous enough to take risks will “accomplish nothing in life” (Muhammad Ali). Courage happens anytime, anywhere, and any day. Courage is experienced by all; no matter how young, old, wise, or foolish. The effect of courage may not be positive, however, the outcome is remembered. As I read “Speaking of Courage” by Tim O’Brien. I thought of many ways to interpret the story’s meaning. However, after much pondering and reflection I feel that the road around the lake that Bowker incircles continuously throughout the story leads to the true meaning of the entire story. There are many instances in the story of people and objects going nowhere. Everything and everyone he sees along the road seems to be stuck, like him.…

It takes courage because there will always be someone who will try to be negative and won’t think it makes sense to be persistent. People who are not persistent can be a drag and give up easily. It also takes courage to face challenges head on with confidence and self-assurance. Being optimistic allows you to approach life with excitement and positivity. Courage allows you to keep pushing no matter what the odds and believe it will work out in the end. It is human nature to want to please other people. If a person asks another person to join a game of chess, but the person being asked doesn’t enjoy chess, they might say, "yes", because the person being asked likes the person who asked. This makes it difficult to always stand up and do what you want.…

A number of things of can inspire ones courage but I feel two major things trigger a person’s bravery. One is being put into a situation where something is not or doesn’t seem right. The second is seeing someone or something that you care about being mistreated or abused. I think that these are the most commonly seen inspirations of courage. It is evident in the world around us how people step out on a limb to protect friends and family. Not as often you see people who show courage by standing up for what’s right. People who passionate about what they feel or what that stand for are the people who have courage. The people who don't allow fear or worries to manifest their brain and control the decisions they make are the true courageous ones.…

Courage means doing something even if it can be difficult and fearsome. In my opinion, everyone in this world had gone through hardships, and some people chose to give up on their dreams. However, the people who have perseverance are the winners. I have gone through many hardships in my life. For example, I failed my math class in my middle school in China. At that point, I felt I wasn’t smart enough to handle my school works. Everyone else in the campus was doing really well but me. However, my math teacher did not give up one me. She putted so much effort on me by explained the questions. After that, I worked really hard on Math, and I cracked every test. I have to admit that overcome hardships can be really difficult and fearsome, but as long as we persist, nothing can be…

    Moral Courage

Moral courage is a concept means doing the right thing, it means listening to conscience that what does it saying. Standing on what believe. Moral courage has three major elements witch are principle, endurance and danger. it means moral courage and doing right things make us in the risk, we may face fear and danger for example with losing o job and security, reputation or etc. But falling in the risk is not matter because we follow our conscience and it is important because I believe that conscience is based on values and show us the way to be human. Moral courage is standing up for values such as honesty, fairness, compassion, respect and responsibility but just having these values are not enough we have to try to put them into practice and we have to commitment to moral principles as well, so in the practice we may face with danger and we have to confidence to endure hardship, suffer and sacrifice. In this sense we can see moral courage in action. According to Kennedy (1956) moral courage is “the Basis of All Human Morality.” he mentioned that Courageous men do as they do because they love themselves, they respect themselves and their reputation for integrity and their personal standard of their ethics all are more important than their popularity with others or desire to maintain their offices. For having these all values they have to fall in the risk as it done with senator George Norris, with Nelson Mandela and Malala Youssafzai, that all of them stood on what they believed and what they knew that is right. They struggled for higher purpose and having greater values such as human rights and for justice and they found these straggle as their duty to fulfill their obligation. So as consequence we saw that all of them faced with challenges and danger and they endured hardship situation but they could to have significant acheivement. for World War 1 that was started in 1914, US government declared that they would remain neutral but in reality it was not like…
