Corporate Strategy of Nestle (M) Bhd.
Being a subsidiary of Nestle S.A., of Vevey, Switzerland, Nestle (M) Bhd. is sharing the same objective of its holding company, which is to be recognized as the world leader in Nutrition, Health and Wellness, trusted by all its stakeholders, and to be the reference for financial performance in its industry. The group believes that leadership is not just about size, but also about behavior especially trust. They recognize that trust is earned only over a long period of time by consistently delivering on their promises. Thus, the group created a simple phrase –“Good Food, Good Life” based on those objectives and behaviors, seeks to offer consumers products with the best nutritional profile in their categories.

In conducting their business, Nestle (M) Bhd. has adopted Nestle Corporate Business Principles, which is continually evolving and adapting to the changing world. There are a total of ten principles to be committed by the company, taking into account local legislation, cultural and religious practices. Included are nutrition, health and wellness, quality assurance and product safety, consumer communication, human rights in business activities, leadership and personal responsibility, safety and health at work, supplier and customer relations, agriculture and development, environmental sustainability, and lastly, water. These principles basically aim to protect the rights and interests of individuals the company involved and at the same time preserve the environment for future generation.

Realizing customers are the key source of success, Nestle (M) Bhd. always tries to satisfy the market’s various needs on variety food and beverages products. In order to offer products that have proven superiority in consumer taste preference and nutritional value, the company continually invests in the innovation and renovation of its large portfolio of products.
