I believe that the United States should have no role in how other countries pay or do not pay their workers. I do not understand why everyone thinks that we should get involved with every other countries economical   crisis and the way one country treats their nations people. How about instead of all these kids worrying where their clothes are coming from, they worry about problems within the United States like why there are kids here going to bed hungry every night, or the gang problem and Americans killing Americans in record numbers? The only reason our government tries to intervene with all these foreign affairs is because activist groups fund their re-election campaigns year after year. They are just trying to save face with the public that they personally care about the world. All these kids are trying to have a voice because they think they can make a difference and it helps them sleep better at night thinking they are bettering the world one political activist protest at a time. I think there is a lot more bigger issues in the world than some 10 year old kid making my shoes for a living wage that isn’t up to par with the way some people think other people need to live. How do they know that those people are not making enough money to survive? Because they don’t have nice clothes, or a flashy watch, or even a decent looking car? My idea of fair living wages is whatever people are willing to work for to put food on their table.   As long as they can eat, they can live. I don’t think anyone in America should be concerned with how other countries run THEIR country. Fix the problems at home and then worry about the world. It would be nice if other countries prospered the way we have, but the fact of the matter is, is they didn’t. That should only be their problem to fix, not ours. I would be very upset if my tax dollars went to the bettering of some 3rd world country when I’m barely getting by myself.
