Iwhat is dialogue?

Listening is the most important factor in a dialogue. Many of us don’t listen to others talking. Some wait a long time to response to one’s statements and then the conversation can have a bad ending. Some people say that dialogue means good conversation. William Isaacs says it’s conversation with center not sides. Dialogue goes deeper than conversation that ends to an answer yes or no. Dialogue not only raises the level of thinking, it impacts how people act and in particularly how they act all together. When people hear the word dialogue people instantly think it’s a conversation with others. The most important thing in dialogue is you.

A Dialogue is an ongoing stream of thought, connection, where you relate to other people with respect and gracious. Dialogue means people equally participate to thinking together.

IIdialogue

A Dialogue is a situation between two or more persons. Dialogue was first used by the Greeks.

The philosopher Plato wrote a series of dialogues between Socrates in the early days. Written dialogues where mostly disagreements between the two and they were trying to solve the disagreement.

Today dialogue is used in classrooms, community centers, corporations, federal agencies and other situations where people are trying to solve their perspectives and experiences about difficult situations. Dialogue is used to resolve conflicts between people. Without dialogue the person who starts to say something or claims something would win the situation.

1. Dialogues components

Like made clear before dialogue is a dialogue is a conversation that is active, committed, mutual, open sincere and that happens between two or more people. Dialogue has always been about making yourself and your matter at that time clear. But what a dialogue is made of, what douse it consist?

Dialogue consist of four major components that are listen, wait, respect and speak up meaning say straight what you want to say. This next part concentrates on this fours components

1.1 Listening

What is listening, how can you describe it? Listening is following and understanding the sound you hear --- it’s hearing with a purpose. Most likely you are listening to something because you benefit from it somehow. For example when you listen your teacher in a class room you learn when you watch TV and listen what they are saying there you know what is happening.

Listening is understanding and recording the words and sentences you here to your brain. Good listening also needs focusing, you really have to concentrate on the matter so you will benefit all that you can and will not miss anything.

Good listening consist of three parts; attitude, attention, and adjustment. These skills are known collectively as triple-A listening.

A lecture's value can be extracted only through listening. But listening is not the same as hearing. Listening is a conscious activity based on three basic skills: attitude, attention, and adjustment. These skills are known collectively as triple-A listening.
