John made a mistake when he decided to use the detergents by himself to clean the carpets. It is not All Clean Ltd’s fault as they had stated very clearly in the receipt that they are not liable for any loss or damage, however caused, arising from the use of the company’s products. John should have read the receipt carefully and let professionals do the work. John cannot ask for compensation from All Clean Ltd as it was his fault and he’s responsible for the destruction and his injury.

A warranty is an expressed or implied statement that some situation or thing is as it appears to be or is represented to be; written guarantee of the integrity of a product and of the maker's responsibility for the repair or replacement of defective parts.

Warranty is a specific time in which an item is covered.

• Official authorization, sanction, or warrant.
• Justification or valid grounds for an act or a course of action.
• Law.
• An assurance by the seller of property that the goods or property are as represented or will be as promised.
• The insured's guarantee that the facts are as stated in reference to an insurance risk or that specified conditions will be fulfilled to keep the contract effective.
