Contemporary Issues in Western Religion Paper: Science and Religion Regardless of the heightened rise conflicts in science and religion, both can be true within its own limits. Science and religion have been confrontational over countless years. They are two conflicting views of life with many valid arguments that can be used to influence people from one extreme to the other. Religious ideas are normally presented first, and then suitable scientific evidence accumulates to encounter religious beliefs. Some philosophers, scientists, priests, etc. say that science and religion shall never be challenged. There will always be disagreements because science and religion are two unlike corrections. There are several ideas made as to where there is conflict between science and religion. For example, the divine action of the world; such as miracles, Jesus rising from the dead, and the Holy Spirit influences people to see the truth through the gospels of Jesus Christ. They are movements beyond creation conservation. Another area of conflict is scientific scripture scholarship, also called historical biblical criticism. Various theories or proposals conflict with important parts of religious beliefs. There is scientific world view, where some people think scientific world view supports or reinforces naturalism. That there is no God. Religion largely deals with matters founded on faith. Mainly, it is frequently exposes from a divinity – moreover orally communicated from generation to generation, chronicles within a holy manuscript, or open to individuals concluded in prayer. Basically all biologists believe that the numerous species changed over hundreds of millions of years, entirely through the procedures of natural selection. Science pursues responses to the obscurities of life through confirmed philosophies or solid evidences. Influences among scientists occur at the borders of each area of science, where new findings are being understood and fiercely disputed. The discussions are ultimately established by evidence, discussions, dialogue, and consultation. Reaching an agreement is usually intolerable. Occasionally, debates are settled by a mindful conclusion to stand each other’s beliefs. It is problematic to attain among science and religion who are confident of the legitimacy of their own beliefs. There is one tremendous problem in science and religion dialogue. The fact that it is not easy to carry an agreed upon conversation between any two people because they are so alike yet very different from one another.
