          Do you know what is Black Friday? Do you experience Black Friday in America? Black Friday is shopping day that is following Thanksgiving Day in America.   In that day. Many shopping malls open very early, and offer many goods, which are cheaper price. People get up early and to go stand freezing cold lines to buy something they want. They do not care about anything except goods that they want to buy. Even it is not nesseccary. People only focus on the happiness that can be attained through buying and owning personal property. This is a   big problem. We lost our deeper meaning in our life and replace that value with simply possessing things.   Nowadays, we are live in comsumerism society that is the promotion of the interests of consumers. People feel never enough that desire to purchase goods and services in ever greater amounts. Also, consumerism is becoming increasingly significant in our world. Consumerism have negative effects such as environment problem,   physical influence, and   debt. So we should against consumerism to find our deeper meaning in our life.

          The first consequence of consumerism is that it influences environment. According to the articl “Trash”, Andrew Lam states that when he was walking around univeristy of california, berkerly which is his alma mater with his distant relative, he saw large garbage that is filled by carton boxes and papers. This phenomenon make his distant relative very superisly because these things are can recycle and change into money. There are large amounts of resouce were wasted becuause they are influened by consumersim. This example imply us that most students want to buy everything and throw away something they don’t need. They don’t care about their possess things. They only care about things they don’t have.
