this is what we analyse from our project CONSUMER BUYING BEHAVIOUR
Buying Behavior is the decision processes and acts of people involved in buying and using products.
In the other words we can say Process by which individuals search for select, purchase, use and dispose of goods and services, in satisfaction of their needs and wants.
Firstly we all group members want to thank our marketing faculty Mrs. S.Susmita for giving us such an interesting topic for study of Consumer Buying Behavior. We observed buyers at every shop/shopping mall visited by us for analysing purpose we took in to consideration 1o people from each subject separately to make our project report easy understand to readers.
We followed the project line given by our faculty member, through which we make similar questionnaire followed by all group members.
We stick to our same method of analyse, which helps our group member to keep continuity in analysis pattern.
1. STATIONARY ITEMS
we catagorised Stationary products under Four headings.
1.Regular Stationary product
2.Student Stationary product
3.Craft and Project Stationary product
4.Office stationary product
4.Gift and articles Stationary product
Regular Stationary product: Our day to day products like note book, dieries, pen, pencil, graph book, eraser,we took under these heading.
Student study material like text book, note book, compass box, folder cover, geometry box we ook under the heading of Student Stationary product
Craft papers, glue stik, colour bars, sketch pens, water color, colour papers, glitter pens, like craft and project products we considered in Craft and Project Stationary product
Folders, files blank papers, cds, dvds, measurement book, journal book,steplers, pins we took under the heading of Office stationary product.
Attractive and personalised stationary is mostly prefered as the Gift stionary products by Purchaser.
For analysis we visited two Local stationary shops and two Shopping malls which list is as below.
1.Adinath stationares at Paldi
2. Samarth stationares at Maninagar
3.Big bazar shopping mall Raipur
4. Ahmedabad central mall near Road
From our analyses we found that there were 3 childrens 2 students and 5 elders visited the book store and mall.
We considered people having different age group coming for stationary products.
Up to 15 years
Up to 25 years
Up to 35 years
Up to 45 years
45years and above
up to the age of 15 years there were all studente who came for their school stationary and project stationary.these age group buyers came with the list of shopping as they are planned buyers and impulsive buyers as well.As these school students come to knw about the new product from stationary tey buy the product immediatly.Sales person plays important role in impulsive buying for the new product. Through wchich student attracts the most.
Above the 25 year age group peopple came for the stationary shop because to purchase office stationary and regular stationary.As now a days trend of gifting stationary items is also going on as people prefers attractive and durable stationary itemes also purchased by this age goup.
We observed that generally most of the buyers check another alternative available for stationary product.They compre look, quantity , price, quality of the product with another brand.
