Woolworth’s stores are situated around Central business districts. Most of their stores are located in places that are busy such as Shopping malls. However for the convenience of customers Woolworths introduced Woolworth’s food outlets near Engen Garages for the convenience of shopping a limited Woolworth’s food offering, 24 hours a day at a convenient location .This was to cater for the consumer who shop for convinience.These kind of consumers are always on the go. Statistics show that people are making shorter, more frequent visits to supermarkets and therefore need stores that are easy and quick to access. This need for convenience is the driving force behind Woolworths extremely active new store roll-out programme.. For those of their customers who work full-time, opening hours in many of their stores have been significantly extended.
