      2ND Generation: Magnetic Cores, Magnetic Tapes
      3RD Generation: Magnetic Discs
      4TH Generation: Semiconductor magnetic Disc, Optical Disc
      5TH Generation: LSI memory, Optical Disc

  5. Define Desktop Computers?
      Systems you see around in Schools/homes/offices.

  6. Define Workstations?
      Powerful machines with greater than average speed   and popular among the Scientist/Engineers/Animators

  7. Define Notebook Computers?
      Portable computers, usually shape of 8.5/11 inch, works on AC currents or batteries.
      They weigh less than 8-3 pounds.

  8. Define Tablet Computers?
      They are lighter & can accept input from special pen called a stylus/digital pen-used to tap or write directly on the screen.

  9. Define Handheld Computers?
      Also know as Personal Digital Assistant, fits in your palm.
      Used for taking notes, displaying phone #, addresses, track up dates/agendas, etc.
