Phase 1: Project proposal

1.1 Project Description and Background Entrance examination is an examination that many educational institutions use to select students for admission. These exams may be administered at any level of education from primary to higher education. The group wants to create a computerized entrance examination to accelerate the process of checking for the result and to save the records of examinees either passed or failed.

1.2 Project Business Rules Corinthian Institute of Cavite is a private school in Dasmariñas Cavite. The current state of entrance examination at Corinthian Institute of Cavite is manual. The examinees are answering in the paper and checking it manually. The problem is if there are several students taking up entrance examination in the school, sometimes the admission office is requesting the student to come back tomorrow because, they lack of time in checking for the results, otherwise the student is waiting for the results.

1.3. Statement of the Problem
1.3.1. General Objective Manual checking of the test papers.
1.3.2. Specific Objectives
 Shy and have no self confidence in answering the exams.
 Slow of checking the exams.
 Slow of calculating the results of the examinees.

1.4. Statement of the Objectives
1.4.1. General Objective To be able to create a computerize entrance examination at Corinthian Institute of Cavite.
1.4.2. Specific Objectives
 To sharpen students critical thinking in dealing with their academics and thereby improving their self-confidence.
 To accelerate the process of checking the exam.
 To create a records of examinees either passed or failed.

1.5. Significance of the Study To be able to create a proposed system that will benefit the proponents to achived the desire of the client.
1.6. Project Scope and Limitations Scopes: To be able to minimize the work and upgrade the system
