Introduction to the Report
I have been asked by a new web design company to design the computers for their different departments. The different departments are the administration team, finance team and the design team. The administration team require a general purpose system and same with the finance team except the finance team require suitable software for keeping records and holding large amounts of data. The design team require a high end system with advance graphic capabilities and storage facilities. I will have a specification for each department with my recommendation of components, software and hardware to be installed in the computers.

Computer Specification Report

1.1 Motherboard
Design Team: I have decided to go for the Intel Executive Series DQ67OW board for the web design system as it supports RAID and SATA for extra security. This motherboard also has many expansion slots to be able to extend the capability of the computer. The memory on this board has a maximum of 32GB that will allow the system to work at a high speed and be sufficient. The full amount of memory won’t be needed but it is there if memory needs to be upgraded. This board as many Input/output connectors to allow many peripheral’s to work with the computer. It has integrated sound as the web design department might need sound when they use it on web sites they design. Specification
