Star Trek Essay Assignment
In the science fiction episode, Space Seed, from Star Trek Khan, being the antagonist in this story, has similar ways in which he resembles Satan who is antagonist in the Bible.
To start off with, the first similarity that Kahn and Satan share would be the appeal they both had towards women. In the Bible it talks about how before Lucifer was thrown down he was the most beautiful angel and then he with his charm and charisma he lures Eve, when she was in the Garden of Eden, to eat from the forbidden tree causing her to ruin the future for the next generations. In Star Trek, Kahn is described as "...extremely handsome, and magnificently built.." and when Marla saw him she was captivated by him and thought he was beautiful and she was also talking as if hypnotized when she talked about him. Both having been beautiful also leads to the way they both are manipulative.

Another similarity would be how both Kahn and Satan were taken out; Satan to the depths of the earth and Kahn to a treacherous world with minimal of survival equipment. The way it happened for Satan is that he wanted to be exalted and to be higher than God. He became too arrogant, proud and iniquity was found in him. Therefore God ran him out of heaven and down into the depths of Earth. On the...
