There are many differences between High School and College. A good education is an important part of one’s life. To achieve a good education, one should attend both high school and college. Although some people think high school has a lot in common with college when actually they are very different. After graduating high school everyone is encouraged to attend a college. Everyone has their own opinion about doing so, but there are many differences between the two. There is a great difference in the attitude of the students and teachers in high school, for instance, most of the teachers in high school are much more strict about obeying the rules at all times, and also about the amount of school work that is given. This causes many kids enrolled in high school to drop out because of poor grades, or getting into trouble. The teachers also don’t treat you as though you are equal to them, but treat you as an adolescent and they are shaping you on how to become more responsible. High school is mapped out for the students. As you wake up at a certain time, be at school at a certain time, and eat lunch at a certain time. Many high schools, now, allow seniors to leave during their lunch period as long as they return for their next class. This is putting more responsibility on the students to make sure that they are responsible enough to handle themselves on their own or when they get into college. One example in which a teacher has taken on a disciplinary action was when a student was tardy or skipped their class after their lunch break. The student was taken to the principal’s office and was given a full week of in school suspension. However, the teachers only do this to teach you that you have to be able to handle yourself once you go into college.
