There have not been many negative influence in my life from family friends or the media. As a child my friend s and I seemed to get into our fair share of trouble, however I believe that was do more to kids being kids. Testing the water and trying to explore their identity. If anything we all had a part in being a negative influence on each other, no more than the usual peer pressure to do what we think is "cool" and not necessarily what is the right thing to do. My overwhelmingly positive upbringing and focus on being an individual kept me from falling into the masses or following others into the wrong things. The media often portrays negativity as cool and therefore it causes young children to follow, thankfully I did not fall victim to those images. [continues]
